Passion Projects

Hey everyone, Janel here and I'm back with another Passion Project blog post. The project that me and my team are doing is a Volley ball tournament. All of the year 7 to year 10 can join the tournament. 

 The half of my team has been making a speech for the year 7 and 8's hui to invite them to join and how the event's going to run and the other half of our team has to focus in other stuff that we also need to get done.

 How does this help you achieve your passion project? This helps me to keep track of our project and the things that we still need to work on. Anyway, the things that me and my group has to do is having teams sorted as well as the equipments.

 What evidence do you have?
Mon Week 6
By the end of today we will have our program planned out.
  1. Miss Tozer will talk to the caretaker for the poles
  2. Accurate measurement for poles (girls height)
  3. Ask for equipment from Miss Simpson (talk)
  4. Create an outline of the day
  5. Create a speech about the day.(talk at 7-8 Hui

Outdoor Volleyball outline: Friday next week if possible (period 3,4,5)

Two courts, 30 minutes of introduction(rules and instructions) then warm-up
Half a period for training.
Half a period for friendly games.
Period 5 competition games.
2 games will run at the same time. If it is possible then we are going to have 4 teams then if we have more teams compete.

There will be four teams which we will organize when we have appropriate numbers.

Sports: Volleyball
Outdoor volley
Pole height:
7 feet, 4 1/8 inches
Ask for equipment:

Caretaker: to make poles

Ask Belle for nets/balls.
Ask Mrs. Clemence for spray paint.

Brainstorm
  • Introduces our self
