My Shoes

This is a story about my Favourite pair of Shoes and what I think it does when I'm not around.

Fila:

YAY! She's not home!! I'm so excited!. I can finally get out of this closet filled with weird looking shoes. 

Air Force:

Umm, Excuse me?! You might have Flowers sewed on you, but we look a bit cooler than you. Plus, I was the favourite until you came.

Fila:

Ummm, Ok?! You WERE the favourite. The OLD favourite. I'm the new favourite here.! 

Air Force:

So what  if your the new Favourite?! At least she doesn't use me that often and she always clean me. She use you every time and she rarely clean you!

CIP Mindfulness Coloring

For this week's CIP, we are focusing on Mindfulness Coloring. We first watched a video of a girl singing and coloring in some pictures. We had to discuss about the video and what Mindfulness Coloring means. After we watched the video, we then needed to be in a group of three. The teacher gave us a piece of paper and answered the questions on the tv.  

SH,TZ,BH, and TS are doing the Coloring competition.

How do I think we should organise the Competition?

Maybe we can send an email to the schools that we want to invite to join the competition. We can also include some basic thing that they have to know like when is the competition going to start and end and to also tell them how the competition's going to run. We should sort out some stuff that we need for the competition such as the sheets that we need to color in and the coloring pencils and other things that is needed.

Week 1 P.E

What makes a good team player? 
For me, sharing and helping your team members will make you a good team player. What I mean't by helping your team mate is that you can kind of teach them to do the stuff they might not know what to do.

What skills and attributes do you need to display?
You mostly need to cooperate with your team and understand that they can't do everything that you do.

What is your role within your team, What does your role involve?
I'm a Co Captain in my team. My job is that I have to make sure that all my group players are on track and they are all participating in set tasks and activities, and if we are playing a games within our teams, I have to make sure that everyone gets a turn at everything such as getting a turn at passing the ball.

How could you be a better team player? 
by being active and ready for your team

What do you think Digital Technology is going to be about?

I think that we are going to learn about things Digitally and make projects digitally.


What do you already know about Digital Technology?

I don't really know a lot about Digital Tech, but I think we are going to do some projects using the technology.

What are you hoping to learn during this Hurumanu?

Make a game and learn some shortcuts.

Video	Analysis/ summary thoughts of video
Social:	Being bashed by posting pictures of you. Being instafamous by posting pictures. Being threat using Social media.
Environmental:	Pollution of bad gasses. Littering. Animals in the ocean dying because of plastic and other type of rubbish.
Ethical:	Robots taking over the world. The robots does the stuff that a human being does. People being unfair.
My Brainstorm for an issue I am interested in
Environmental issue: Littering. Maybe we can stop littering by putting rubbish at the right place and doing the right thing by picking up rubbish whenever you see some even if it’s not yours. Social issue: Cyber Bullying. Some people use the Social Media to bully other people. If they can’t say something in person, they use Social Media to say it to that person. Ethical issue: Robots. Robots does the things that a human being should. Some stores buy Robots to do the jobs that people should do. Some people lose their jobs because of the robots. If you get what I mean.

Revolution Tour

At Tuesday 28th of May, we had the Revolution Tour with Reggie Dabbs. He goes to my school every year and I personally love it. I'm pretty sure that the students in my school loves seeing him as well. He is a very talented and funny guy but if you know the story behind his smile, I'm sure that it's going to make you cry. 

The first thing that occurred at the event was him welcoming us with his funny attitude. After that, he gave us a challenge. He will play a song using his musical instrument called Saxophone. He is really good at playing that instrument. He started to play songs like Let it go from the movie Frozen and the other song that I remembered was the song Just the way you are from Bruno Mars.

After he played the songs, we then played a game called " Throw your friend under the bus ". As soon as he said the name of the game, I turn around and saw the other students with a shocked face. I was laughing real hard.

How did we played the game? Reggie called out a category and people might point to you and the Reggie would call you up on the stage. The first category he called out was the most Athletic student. Some people picked a year 9. The other categories that Reggie called out was the Smartest, Funniest, Shyest, and the best Teacher.  I forgot who he picked at that time. After he picked the students and a teacher, he asked them things about bullying.

After we played the game, he talked about his life and the things he went through. He didn't really had enough time to tell us the whole story, but some of the students cried just by hearing the short story. I cried as well and he gave me a fist bump. Right after he gave me a fist bump, the event was over.

It was really fun seeing him every year and I'm looking forward on seeing him again next year.
