Empathy

Today in Kiwi Kaha, near the end of the lesson, we talked about Empathy. Empathy simply means you putting other peoples shoes. What I mean by that is you sort of doing other peoples responsibility and also understanding one another. Here is our Acrostic  Poem:

Tuesday Playback PE Reflection

Netball teaching?

What did you do on Tuesday?

On Tuesday, my class and 7/8 DS played Multi Sports and we taught the group from the other class that has the same game like ours and teach them some ways that we came up with to change the game a little bit. 

Within your sport group, what worked well?

The only thing that worked well for my team was us playing the game with the rules/ways that we came up with.

  

What do you need to change for next time?

We don't really actually need to change something in our group. We just have to work on our Communication skills. 

What are you looking forward to present?

My group actually came up with two new ways to play the game. So, were really looking forward to show the other team.

Camera Angles

Five different types of Camera Angles

• Bird Eye Shot

This type of shot is similar to what a bird can see during flight. It is sometimes used as an establish shot to show where the character is or is travelling to. This type of shot is usually filmed using a helicopter.

• Worms Eye Shot

This angle is the opposite of the Bird Eye Shot. A worm eye view is filmed from a similar perspective to a worm.

• Over the Shoulder Shot

This Shot is done by the Camera Man just filming a little bit of your face and mostly the things that is happening behind you.

•  Long Shot

In films and sometimes photography, it shows an entire object or human.

• Zoom in

Zooming in is technically not a camera move as it does not require the camera itself to move but the camera lens.

My Athletics day

Athletics Day

Last Thursday the 7th of March was Athletics day. For this year's Athletics day, I decided to do Social instead of Competitive. I didn't want to do Competitive anymore and I don't really have any reason why. If you guys are wondering what house I'm in... I'm in SHELFORD!

This year's Athletics day was so fun but a bit boring because there wasn't as much people like last year. I really enjoyed the Athletics day because I got to support people in my team. The other reason why I enjoyed the Athletics day was because Shelford didn't lost every single relay race unlike last year. I was so happy that every single time there's relay race, I run with them like I'm a part of it. I was keep on shouting that I almost ran out of voice but yeah, I didn't. Anyways, the only sports I participated in was High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, and Discus.

Anyways guys, that is all about it for this blog post. I'm sorry because I can't add any pictures. It's just that I can't find any pictures of me. BYE!!

Rapunzel with a twist update

W.A.L.T:  I can write a narrative using correct structure

In our Hurumanu, me and my group already started rehearsing for movie. We are still trying to figure out how the movie would go and where were supposed to film it.
Here is how the movie might go:
Rapunzel's going to get kidnapped and Mother Gothel actually care for Rapunzel and not her hair.

If you guys are wondering who's who in the movie, here is the list of the characters:

What Community have you joined?

The Community that I chose to be a part in is Hornby High School community.

Explain why this group is your passion.

I chose this Community because I think we could improve something and maybe I could help them make it happen. 

Explain ONE idea that your interested in.

The one thing that I want to happen in this school is students not littering and picking up rubbish if they see some.

How do you think you can achieve this idea?

I think we could achieve this idea by putting posters around the school and maybe the ones that got the most rubbish wins a prize.
