Here is a picture that shows all the ingredients needed:
To do:
- Get 50 g of butter and put it on a small plate
- Get one of the measuring cup ans measure 2 cups of flour then put it in a bowl
- Get the measuring spoon and measure 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and put it in one of the small bowls
- With the same measuring spoon, measure 1 table spoon of baking soda
- With the measuring cup, measure 1 cup of milk
- Then after all that, get the grated cheese and you are probably all set to make the Pizza swirls
The first thing that you have to do is to cut the butter into small little cubes before it might start to melt and will make your job a lot harder.
The second thing that you have to do is to start sifting the flour, salt and baking soda together.
After that, you will then need to put the mix the butter into the dry mixture and only mix it with your finger tips. Make sure to not leave and big lumps of butter.
The next thing that you have to do is to start mixing the mixture together while slowly adding some milk in. Make sure that you only mix it in a circle motion. You don't also have to add all the milk that you guys got. The last thing that you have to remember is to not overwork it because if you did, it will get too soft and be hard to work with.
After 20 - 25 minutes of cooking, this is what it turned out to look like. The taste was unbelievable. The flavour that seemed to stand out the most was the Meat as well as the Capsicum which was a pretty good combination of taste for me.
Hi Janel. You have done a super job with this blog post. Your write up is clear and the photos provide a good visual match to the method. It sounds like this recipe was very delicious. What meat did you use? There is no mention of meat in the ingredients. What colour board did you use for cutting up the meat? Also the wooden pin is actually called a rolling pin!
